Here’s a message about the event from Brendan Sheridan (Mr Surfing Hainan, himself)…
The Second Surfing Hainan Open Presented by Source will be held in Hainan’s Riyuewan over November 6th through 8th of this year. This year’s event looks to draw professional surfers from around the globe, as well as the finest from China’s surfing community.

Le Meridien Resort Shimei Bay is the only luxury resort within miles of the competition site. It also happens to be one of the very best hotels in Hainan, and it is pretty much the only one with a long stretch of virgin beach all to itself.
